Tundra Site Services recognizes that good Journeyman welders are a valuable addition to any team, as do our customers. During process plant shutdowns, we require welders who are willing to assist the millwrights as part of the maintenance team. Work is typically stick or fluxcore, the great majority related to maintenance. Maintenance work requires workers with good attention to detail, and customer service skills as they are asked to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment. Many of our welders have the opportunity to work in the NWT/Nunavut. Fly in/out camp work, 12 hours/day. Contractors welcome to apply.
We also have local clients often looking for help in their Edmonton shops, or at sites around Edmonton. Please specify the type of work that is your ideal fit in the introduction to your resume.
-good attitude and customer service skills
-ability to work as part of a team, including assisting millwrights where required
-mig, stick, fluxcore, CWB an asset at some sites
-willing to travel, work shift work
-safe job sites, industry leading clients in safety and innovation
-jobs are often 12 hours/day but this will depend on the site being serviced
-process plant maintenance typically offers more variety of work than production welding
