Tundra Site Services is currently accepting resumes from Equipment Operators & Laborers for anticipated needs in 2025


Equipment Operators particularly from Yellowknife, nearby communities to Yellowknife, and Edmonton, interested in servicing occasional requirements at our Client’s mining operation during 2024/2025 are encouraged to apply to this posting. We are happy to meet with operators who have proven mining or camp experience at any time; feel free to request an interview when submitting your resume if your background makes you an ideal fit for northern camp-based work. We would like to have a record of the types of equipment that you are trained and experienced to run – this info will be shared with our clients.

Labourers, from the same areas listed above, are required to support the Clients with organization and cleanup tasking, but are really there to provide support to whatever our clients may need. Some tasks may be physically challenging and others may be involve your organization skills and attention to detail, but either way, we want people who are dedicated to their task and who are willing and able to put in 2 to 3 weeks of 12 hour days. If you have experience such as Skidsteer, Telehandler or Forklift, it’s important to let us know as having experience with these types of equipment can provide value to some clients.

Operators will be responsible for the operation of various types of trucks and their specific duties may include:

  • Fuel Truck: Servicing gensets, stationary and mobile equipment.
  • Water Truck: Maintaining fresh water supply to treatment plant, site-wide auxiliary buildings, underground portal, and controlling dust on roads and airstrip.
  • Septic Vac Truck: Performing septic tank pumping, cleaning, and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Roll-On Roll-Off Waste Bin Truck: Ensuring all containers are completely dumped and the location is left clean and free of debris. Positioning containers in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block entrances or traffic.
  • Loaders, Dozers, Backhoe, Haul truck: These types of operators could potentially be ordered – applicants welcome

The Operator will ensure the safe and efficient operation of trucks, perform routine checks and maintenance, comply with all safety regulations and procedures and will maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
