Tundra Site Services is currently recruiting for Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics off-road, for a variety of clients in the arctic.

Operating out of Western Canada, Tundra Site Services (since 1989) is currently in search of Heavy Duty Mechanics looking for a change or for their next project. Contract or contract to permanent options available.
Clients are generally looking for running maintenance of off-road equipment (primarily CAT) though some more extensive rebuilds are scheduled in the coming months at our client locations.
We can offer remote opportunities at fully operational mines or in remote, early stage operations, depending on your preferences. Owner/Operators or employees are welcome to contact. Fly in opportunities of 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out or 3 weeks in, 3 weeks out are available without provision of tools or rig. For those with service rigs preferring to drive in to jobs in Western Canada, we can check with our other client’s needs and put you on the list for Southern projects.
Rates are competitive, flights available from nearest airport, reviewing resumes from all regions in Canada. Applicants with transferable work visas, if qualifications verified to meet Canadian specification, may also be considered. Further specifics can be discussed with confirmed qualified candidates.
· On and off-road experience both provide value
· Arctic, mining, winter road experience an asset with verifiable references
· Candidates with shovel, drag-line or bucket experienced may be considered for specific projects, at times with rig
· Proof of Covid-19 vaccination may still be required at some fly-in client sites
· Interested in longer shifts, 12 hours/day, supporting large mining or infrastructure projects, or working on equipment rebuilds, mostly CAT
· Great attitude, team player
